Channel Strategy

A complete strategic blueprint for your affiliate channel — commission architecture, publisher mix, attribution model, and a 90-day action plan your team can run with.

Who it's for

Programs that need a clear path forward.

Strategy is the right engagement when you know what's broken but not what to build instead — or when you're standing up a net-new program and want to get the architecture right from the start.

  • Programs that completed an audit and need to act on the findings.
  • Teams that are rebuilding after a reset — new platform, new leadership, new focus.
  • Programs stuck at a revenue ceiling with no clear lever to pull.
  • Companies launching affiliate for the first time and want to build it right.
  • In-house managers who need a defensible strategy document for exec sign-off.

What you get

A strategy your team can execute.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do we need to complete the audit first?

Not required, but it helps. The audit gives us a clean baseline so we're not spending Strategy time diagnosing what we'd already know. If you're confident in your current-state data, we can go straight to Strategy.

What access do you need?

Read-only access to your affiliate platform, and visibility into top-line performance data (revenue, conversions, active publisher count). We'll also want 2–3 short interviews with your internal stakeholders to understand constraints and goals.

How involved does our team need to be?

Two structured working sessions plus async feedback on drafts. Most clients spend 3–5 hours total across the engagement. We do the heavy lifting; we just need your context and sign-off at key checkpoints.

Can the strategy be used to get internal budget approved?

Yes — and many clients use it exactly this way. The deliverables are written to be exec-ready: clear framing, modeled upside, and a sequenced plan with effort estimates. We can tailor the final presentation to your internal audience if needed.

What does it cost?

Project-based fee, scoped to program complexity and whether we're building on an existing audit or starting fresh. Reach out and we'll come back with a number within a business day.

What happens after the strategy?

You own the document and the action plan. Some clients execute it in-house; others bring us in for the Growth engagement to run recruitment and activation. No obligation either way.

Ready to build a program with a real strategy behind it?

Thirty-minute scoping call first. We'll confirm fit, scope, and timeline before you commit to anything.
